eFootball.Pro IQONIQ's eighth matchday will stream live on Saturday, April 24th. Arsenal FC has managed to maitain their first place position for the third consecutive matchday, and Celtic FC currently occupies the last rank on the league table. The day's events will begin to define the official Knockout Stage qualifiers, and reveal which players are in the running for winning the top goal scorer, assists provider, and defensive player awards.
Arsenal FC vs. AS Roma
The first fixture of Matchday 8 features two clubs that have entirely different lineups than they had in the 2019-20 season. Arsenal FC captain INDOMINATOR has accumulated the highest number of CO-OP points, and is ranked 2nd in goals scored so far this season with 12. Fellow Gunner barboza is ranked within the top ten players for assists provided, in 9th place with eight. The entire Arsenal FC roster makes up the top three positions for dribbling, and all rank within the top five players for passing. AS Roma’s captain RoksaCzv22 is currently positioned as the second best defensive player in the league, and 4th in assists provided (10).
The two teams will be entering Matchday 8 separated by four positions and four points on the league table, with Arsenal FC in 1st place with 25 points and AS Roma in 5th place with 21 points. With an additional two points or more, Arsenal FC will qualify for the Knockout Stage of the 2020-21 season. Even with a six point victory, AS Roma wouldn’t be guaranteed advancement, and they still depend on favorable results from the other fixtures.
This fixture will be the first time the players of AS Monaco and Galatasaray SK will face each other in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ. Monegasque club representative Kilzyou currently tops the goal scorers table with 19 successful shots, and has taken the second highest amount of shots (35) with the most on target (31). His teammate, Lotfi, is entering the day as the top assists provider in the league (15), and is 4th in goals scored (11), and Usmakabyle tops the competition in passes intercepted (120). Galatasaray SK’s Mucahit21 is ranked 1st in defensive gameplay, being the only player to break past the 12,000 point threshold so far. StavAttack is currently 5th in goals scored (11). As a team, AS Monaco leads the league in goals scored, assists, and shots on target. Their Turkish opponents are tied with two other clubs for the most saves so far this season.
They are entering the day separated by seven positions and ten points on the league table, with AS Monaco in 2nd place with 24 points and Galatasaray SK in 9th with 14 points. AS Monaco has the chance to qualify for advancement with at least four points earned without depending on the results of other clubs. Galatasaray SK risks falling out of the running for Knockout Stage contention if they fail to earn any additional points.

The Italian and German clubs both feature almost identical rosters to last year, with Urma being the exception as a new addition to FC Schalke 04 in the 2020-21 season. Juventus captain ETTORITO97 is ranked 2nd in assists provided (13), and is the 3rd best defensive player so far this season. He also topped the most recent matchday’s CO-OP points chart, with 3,594 points in Matchday 7. LoScandalo is currently 3rd in goals scored, and IL DISTRUTTORE44 also occupies a position in the top ten at 9th with 10 shots. IL DISTRUTTORE44 also leads the league in shots taken (36), with the second highest number on target (26). FC Schalke 04’s captain MeroMen is ranked 6th in defense, with his teammate, EL_Matador, ranked 7th in assists. Rookie Urma has taken the 4th highest number of shots, 32, with 23 of them on target. As a club, Juventus has taken the most shots so far this season, as well as corner kicks, and FC Schalke 04 is tied with two other clubs for the most saves.
Juventus and FC Schalke 04 are entering the eighth matchday separated by one position, and each with 22 points. The Italian squad is 3rd and the German team in 4th due to their goal differences. If either club manages to get all six points from the fixture, they will qualify for the Knockout Stage. With less than two victories, they will depend on the outcomes of other matchups that day.
These two clubs didn’t face each other in the 2019-20 Regular Season, or in the eFootball.Pro Cup. Celtic FC’s PataNegra7 is returning the competition, playing alongside Jorcha and Gagliardo28. The Scottish team captain Jorcha is ranked 6th in goals scored, with 11 successful shots so far. Gagliardo28 impressively placed within the top five players in CO-OP points by only his third career matchday in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ. Barcelona’s captain THE PALMA is positioned in 3rd place for assists provided (10), and ALEX GRD is 6th (9). Rookie ALEXR is ranked 7th in goals scored (11) and also within the top five players for shots taken and shots on target. As a club, Celtic FC is tied with two other clubs for having the most saves so far this season (24).
As they enter Matchday 8, the clubs are separated by four ranks and six points, with FC Barcelona in 6th place with 19 points and Celtic FC in 10th place with 13 points. If Celtic FC fails to earn fewer than four points, they will be out of the running for Knockout Stage contention. Regardless of the outcome of this fixture, FC Barcelona will still depend on Matchday 9 results and the outcome of other clubs’ fixtures in order to determine the possibility of their advancement.
FC Bayern München vs. Manchester United FC
The final matchup of the day features two clubs who last faced each other in the debut of the 2019-20 season of eFootball.Pro IQONIQ, which ended with one draw and one win for Manchester United FC. FC Bayern München captain JOSE is positioned 4th on the defense table, and is also 2nd in defensive positioning. MESTRE is currently ranked 5th in both assists provided and defense, and Alex Alguacil’s 16 key passes have placed him 4th amongst his teammates and opponents. Manchester United FC’s E_C_Oneill and Kams10_ are both ranked within the top three players for key passes. The German trio is tied with two other teams for the most clean sheets so far this season.
FC Bayern München and Manchester United FC are currently separated by one rank and two points, with the English squad in 7th place with 19 points and the German team in 8th place with 17 points. Even if either of these clubs are unable to acquire any additional points in Matchday 8, they both have the potential to reach the Knockout Stage depending on Matchday 9 gameplay and the results of the other teams’ fixtures.
