INDOMINATOR: “We can’t underestimate any team that is outside of the top six”

AS Monaco and Arsenal FC are both happy with the Matchday 6 outcome, but admit they hoped for more

AS Monaco and Arsenal FC went head-to-head in the second fixture of the day, both teams entering the day ranked within the top three positions with the Gunners holding first place and the Monegasque club trailing closely in third with only a one point difference. The even competition ended with each team taking three points to the league table after AS Monaco won Game 1 and Arsenal FC was victorious in Game 2. Lotfi and INDOMINATOR spoke with eFootball.Pro IQONIQ commentator Harry Channon about the matchday.

Lotfi was first up to interview, with Channon asking about AS Monaco’s reaction to the results. The Monegasque club representative explained: “They were two very difficult games. In each game, it was hard for us to coordinate offensively. Three points in these conditions is a good result for us because our target is to be in the top six. I think it was possible to get four points, but they were difficult games so three points aren’t so bad.”

Lotfi: "Three points in these conditions is a good result for us because our target is to be in the top six."

Noting that AS Monaco is next scheduled to face Juventus, Lotfi was asked how his club felt about facing off against the strong players of the Italian team. He responded: “We know they’re a good team. They have better results than they did in the beginning, so they will be hard games. We will try to do our best and get the maximum of points to be in the top six.”

Next up to speak with Harry was Arsenal FC captain INDOMINATOR. He was first asked about how they felt winning one game and losing the other to AS Monaco, to which he replied: “I think we can be happy with three points against the two-time eFootball.Pro IQONIQ champions. Looking at the matches, in the first game we had a bit of trouble. I think we deserved more. We only created two chances and they had a few more, but they weren’t 100% chances and I think the credit for that goes to our team. We defended well.” He continued with the positivity: “In the second game, we just moved on… We made the right decisions, with great timing and good passing. We deserved that win.”

Looking towards the next competition, Channon asked how Arsenal felt going up against Galatasaray SK, noting their roster’s impressive defensive skills. INDOMINATOR told Harry: “They’re a great team, but they haven’t shown it yet with the results they’ve gained so far. We can’t underestimate any team that is outside of the top six. The pressure will be more on them than us, so we’ll take advantage of that.” He even went on to note: “Hopefully we can qualify for top six by the end of the next matchday.”
