Arsenal FC is on fire. KONAMI has selected the top 5 goals of the last matchday 4 and, for the third time in a row, two Arsenal’s players are nominated: INDOMINATOR, for the second time this season after the Matchday 2 nomination, and Roksa22, after receiving the Goal of The Day award for his goal against Nekza on Matchday 3.
The winner of such a coveted award along with its €5,000 prize will be announced during the regular league's fifth matchday event, which can be followed live from the eFootball’s YouTube and Facebook official accounts next Saturday, April 22nd at 13:00 CEST.
Let’s take a look at the five nominees.
AS Roma - Manchester United: Match 1 Game 1
Second nomination for Nekza after his Goal of the Day award on Matchday 2. This time, the former MVP won his match against ASR_STIFFLER in the 89th minute thanks to a great goal from Martial after a through ball from Rashford. A hard-fought victory that gave the Red Devils their first 3 points of their clean sweep against the Giallorossi.
AS Monaco - Arsenal FC: Match 2 Game 1
The Arsenal captain is in fine fettle as his team's good momentum continues. INDOMINATOR picked up a valuable first three points in his match against a reigning champion like Usmakabyle and he didn't do it in any easy way. After a play full of quick passing in his trademark style, the Dutchman played the ball to Trossard on the left flank and with a great quality shot he made it 2-3 in stoppage time.
Arsenal FC - Manchester United: Match 2 Game 3
The previous Goal of the Day winner defeated Monaco's Kams10_ by 2 goals to 0. Unbeaten so far in the competition, Roksa22 was this time nominated for his second goal in the 37th minute of the game, thanks to a fierce shot from Gabriel Jesus inside the box in front of an intense Monaco defence. Third consecutive nomination for the Serbian giant who is currently in third place in the top scorers' list with 11 goals.
FC Barcelona - AC Milan: Match 3 Game 1
The Spanish player seems to be starting to get back on track after three consecutive matchdays of draws. Finally, last matchday he got his first win with a close victory over Rossoneri captain ACM Naples17x by 1-0 The nominated goal was scored in the 55th minute by Dembélé after a great back-heel pass from Frenkie de Jong inside the box.
FC Barcelona - AC Milan: Match 3 Game 3
Second nomination for Rossoneri ACM player Sasinho, who was already a Goal of the Day winner in Matchday 1. The Italian scored an absolute stunner for A. Gala with a precise long-range shot into Ter Stegen's left-hand corner in the 80th minute.
However, the goal did not help him much as he was beaten 4-3 by Alex Alguacil, scoring AC Milan’s third defeat in Matchday 5.
