RoksaCzv22: “We took four points which is important to us for staying in the playoffs”

Both clubs express disappointment in the results of the seventh matchday and hope to earn more points in the upcoming competition

AS Roma and Celtic FC made up the third match of eFootball.Pro IQONIQ’s Matchday 7. The Italian club was unable to claim all six points against their Scottish opponents, after a 2-2 draw in the first game and a 2-1 victory in the second. Harry Channon spoke with Celtic FC rookie umbee96_ and AS Roma captain RoksaCzv22 about the competition.

First up to speak with the league commentator was umbee96, discussing the one point gain that dropped Celtic FC to the bottom of the league table. He explained: “Today we know they were really difficult games. Roma is one of the best teams in the league. We didn’t play so bad. We actually played well sometimes, but we need more concentration.” Harry went on to compliment the “moment of brilliance” from the newest addition to the team, Gagliardo28, for his goal in minute 23’ of the second game which left commentators stunned.

umbee96_:  "If you’re playing in this league, you’re one of the best in the world."

Looking ahead to their next opponents, FC Barcelona, Channon asked the Scottish team representative how his club felt about the upcoming fixture. He responded: “All of the players in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ are good. If you’re playing in this league, you’re one of the best in the world. There aren’t any easy matches in this league, but we’ll do everything to take six points because we need it.”

RoksaCzv22 was up next, detailing his feelings about the outcome of the match: “We have four points, but before the game we spoke about wanting six. We played well, we did better in the first game than the second. We had some crazy misses, S-Venom and I. In the second game, I don’t know what to say about their goal. It was magic from Gagliardo28. I think he’s the best attacker in the league. But we came back and took four points, which is very important to us for staying in the playoffs.”

Addressing AS Roma’s next fixture against the first place team, Arsenal FC, RoksaCzv22 explained: “They’re one of the best teams this season. Who knows, maybe the next game could be our chance to reach first on the table. We’ll prepare and try to win both games, or at least four points.” The team captain also congratulated his teammate, KEPA, on an impressive four goals scored throughout the day.
