Highlights of the day: Matchday 4

Relive the memorable moments of the February 13th competition as eFootball.Pro IQONIQ enters the second half of the Regular Season

FC Bayern München vs. AS Roma

The first game between FC Bayern München and AS Roma began with a quiet start, and a score of 0-0 as the first half concluded. The second half of the game consisted of the sole goal of the entire match scored by Alex Alguacil in minute 60’. His shot achieved the 1-0 result that led to three points being allocated to the German club as they approached the next competition.

The following game showcased more goals, almost all in favor of the Italian squad. Aca scored the first during his eFootball.Pro IQONIQ debut in minute 11’, which ended up being the only shot on the scoreboard for the rest of the beginning half. Bayern captain JOSE equalized the score in minute 69’ in hopes of avoiding a loss, however the tie didn’t last long as RoksaCzv22 swayed the game back into his team’s favor in minute 79’. To ensure the win, KEPA and RoksaCzv22 each managed one more goal, creating the 1-4 win for AS Roma.

Arsenal FC vs. Juventus

After kick off, Juventus captain ETTORITO97 put his team on the scoreboard in minute 23’ of the first game. Aiding the Gunners in avoiding a loss, Arsenal FC’s INDOJAWA evened out the score in minute 56’ with his game tying shot that led to the final result of 1-1, awarding one point to each club at the competitions’s conclusion.

INDOJAWA’s brother and team captain, INDOMINATOR, took his turn by opening the following game in Arsenal’s favor almost immediately in minute 4’. ETTORITO97 achieved another shot in minute 16’, but was unable to secure the win as barboza made his second goal of the 2020-21 season in minute 30’ when his team needed it most, boosting the score to 2-1 where it remained until the clock ran out, earning the English club four points total at the end of the match.

Celtic FC vs. Galatasaray SK

Celtic FC captain Jorcha scored the first shot of the fixture in minute 28’, hoping to bring the Scottish ahead on the league table. Galatasaray SK’s StavAttack had different plans for the competition, however, which he proved with back-to-back goals in minutes 43’ and 62’, earning the Turkish club their first win in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ history with a final result of 1-2.

Jorcha opened up the second game by once again putting Celtic FC in the lead with his fifth goal of the season in minute 41’, bringing them ahead just before the halfway point. StavAttack managed to earn his club their fourth point of the matchday, avoiding a shutout loss in the second game by scoring in minute 64’ and creating a draw of 1-1.

Manchester United FC vs. FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona captain THE PALMA emerged as the star of the first game between Manchester United FC and the Blaugrana squad. After making league history as both the MVP and best goal award recipient of the previous matchday, he continued the iconic gameplay with back-to-back goals in minutes 32’ and 56’, achieving a shutout 0-2 win for Barça and causing commentators to speculate that fans are witnessing him in “the form of his life.”

Barcelona continued to prove why they currently occupy the top position on the league table with a second victory, started off by ALEX GRD in minute 6’. Manchester United FC captain E_C_Oneill equalized the score for the English squad the only time that day with his shot in minute 30’. ALEX GRD brought the score back into Barça’s favor in minute 37’. Youngster ALEXR joined the action with his shot in minute 56’, followed by a third of the day for THE PALMA in minute 65’. Kams10_ added another goal for Manchester in minute 70’, only for the game to be closed out by ALEXR in minute 75’, bringing the result to 2-5 and earning all six points for FC Barcelona.

FC Schalke 04 vs. AS Monaco

Saving the best for last, FC Schalke 04 and AS Monaco’s first game was a goal show that left commentators unable to determine who would be victorious until the very end. AS Monaco’s Lotfi started the competition off strong for the Monegasque club with goals in minutes 28’ and 36’. FC Schalke 04 responded by taking the lead with shots made by all three players in a row: MeroMen in minute 49’, EL_Matador in minute 54’, and Urma in minute 61’. Kilzyou then stepped up and elevated the score once again for Monaco with goals in minutes 65’ and 77’. EL_Matador personally equalized the score for a second time in minute 81’, however Kilzyou’s hat trick in the 84th minute was the game deciding shot of the 4-5 game that concluded in Monaco’s favor.

Unwilling to allow their German opponents even near victory for a second game in a row, the entire Monegasque roster came together to achieve a shutout win of 0-4, with goals by all three players. Usmakabyle started off the game in minute 37’, with Lotfi to follow in minute 53’. Finally, Kilzyou concluded with his fourth and fifth shots of the match in minutes 82’ and 91’, also placing him at the top of the goal scorers table with eleven successful shots so far this season.
