A varied list of nominees for the best goals of Matchday 6

The shortlist of nominees for the Goal of the Day award in Matchday 6 is shaped by the goals from AS Monaco’s Usmakabyle, AS Roma's STIFFLER, FC Bayern’s Jose, AC Milan’s Naples17x and Arsenal’s Roksa22

KONAMI has selected the top 5 goals of the last Matchday 6 and this time no club has more than one player among the list of nominees. ASR STIFFLER and ACM Naples17x join this list for the first time in the competition, while Usmakabyle, FCB_Jose and Roksa22 repeat nominations: the AS Monaco's captain for the third time, the captain of the Bavarians for the second time and the Arsenal's player for the fourth time after he already won on matchday 3.

The winner of such a coveted award along with its €5,000 prize will be announced during the next event, Regular League's last matchday, which can be followed live from the eFootball’s YouTube and Facebook official accounts next Saturday, May 27th at 13:00 CEST

Let’s take a look at the five nominees.

Usmakabyle

Manchester United - AS Monaco: Match 1 Game 1

Second nomination for the reigning champion Usmakabyle after his Goal of the Day nomination on Matchday 3. The AS Monaco captain destroyed Kilzyou in a 4-0 win in which the first goal, scored just five minutes into the match, earned him a goal of the day nomination. After a great long lofted pass caught the Manchester United defence by surprise, the ball fell to the feet of Ben Yedder who slotted home from close range to establish the lead. A superb goal that demonstrates the French champion's great vision.

ASR_STIFFLER

FC Inter - AS Roma: Match 2 Game 1

First nomination for ASR_STIFFLER as AS Roma complete a full nomination tally for their players this season. In the 11th minute of the match against ArdaGolaaazooo, the Italian player sent a magnificent low pass behind the Inter's defence for Paulo Dybala to run into the box and shoot at the far post, scoring the only goal of the match to give the Giallorossi their first win of the day.

FCB_Jose

AC Milan - FC Bayern München: Match 3 Game 1

The captain of the German side picked up his second Goal of the Day nomination after the one obtained on Matchday 1. FCB_Jose once again kept a clean sheet after reducing ACM Sasinho to a 2-0 win with a wide superiority. In particular, the second goal scored by the Spaniard would ultimately earn him the nomination. Right at the start of the second half, in the 49th minute, FCB_Jose put the game to bed with a goal from M. Tel after a great run with Sadio Mané down the left flank. While the defending team was using a team press or moving manually, FCB_Jose's unique dribbling was brilliant, using kick feints, double touches and other techniques to keep his rivals away from the ball. Furthermore, the final shot with Tel was taken knowing that the player possessed the one-touch shooting ability and thus demonstrating his extensive knowledge of each of his players' in-game skills.

ACM Naples17x

AC Milan - FC Bayern München: Match 3 Game 3

First nomination for Rossoneri captain ACM Naples17x as AC Milan receive their fourth nomination with all their players having been nominated. The Italian scored the goal in question with Ante Rebic after a succession of combination passes and a one-two with Brahim Diaz. The goal, scored in the 33rd minute, would make it 1-2 to close the gap to Mucahit21, but unfortunately for the Milanese, the Germans would score again in the 45th minute and the match would end in a 1-3 defeat. A bitter loss for ACM Naples17x who can at least seek comfort with this Goal of the Day nomination.

Roksa22

FC Barcelona - Arsenal FC: Match 4 Game 3

Fourth nomination for the Serbian giant after he won the award on Matchday 3. Arsenal FC have now accumulated eight Goal of the Day nominations, being the club that has been pre-selected the most times, followed by FC Barcelona with six. On this occasion, in the eighth minute of a dramatic encounter against the blaugrana captain The Palma, Roksa22 opened the scoring with a powerful shot from Martinelli down the right side of the box, with Ter Stegen unable to keep out the shot. The goal was the first of the eEuro21 champion's four goals he would go on to score to give the Gunners a 3-4 victory, taking them to the top of the league with just one game to play.
