Barça vs Arsenal for the lead with 1 matchday to go in the Regular League

The final match of the day will decide the top spot after knowing if Manchester United and FC Bayern pick up enough points to stay in contention for the Top 2.

Matchday 6 is full of decisive matches that could definitively define who goes through to the KO Stage and who does not. After an intense Manchester United vs AS Monaco, in which 5 former teammates and fellow countrymen will meet in the eFootball™ Championship Pro’s Main Stage in Barcelona, the last chance for FC Inter and AS Roma to stay in the competition will come. The Nerazzurri can be eliminated if they fail to take full points against the Giallorossi, one of their direct rivals in sixth place. Meanwhile, FC Bayern München will be looking to recover the second position lost after being penalized with a 0-3 defeat in one of their last matchday’s games due to breaching the maximum Team Collective Strength limit of 2400 points. The Bavarians can take advantage of the clash between the Culers and Gunners, but they can also lose some points in their way against AC Milan, who need to make sure of qualification as they are in seventh place at just 1 point from the elimination cut-off established by AS Roma.

The outcome of all these matches can be followed in a live streaming  starting tomorrow at 13:00 CEST on the YouTube and Facebook channels of eFootball™.

MANCHESTER UNITED - AS MONACO

The day opens with a reunion of ex-teammates and compatriots. On the one hand, the entire Manchester United squad will face their former club and their ex-captain Usmakabyle. Lotfi and Kilzyou joined the Monegasques between 2019 and 2021, while Nekza made his professional debut for AS Monaco last year and went on to win the title with them. On the opposite side, Kams10_ will face his former club after 3 consecutive seasons with the Red Devils, which will be an emotional encounter for the Frenchman.

In terms of the current situation for both teams, this match is crucial for the French Ligue 1 side's chances of qualification, as they survive in fifth place just one point away from elimination, while the Red Devils are looking to take advantage of the meeting between the current top two, FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC, and set foot in the top two after being promoted to third place due to FC Bayern's loss of points with the sanction imposed by KONAMI.

FC INTER - AS ROMA

Last Italian derby of the season and a final for both teams as they play for qualification to the KO Stage. The Nerazzurri have only 6 points and find themselves in last place in the league. If they are to have any chance going into the final round of the Regular League, they need to practically get a clean sweep against one of their direct rivals, AS Roma, currently in sixth place with 16 points. The Giallorossi will be looking to pick up as many points as possible to take advantage of the possible virtual loss of points by AS Monaco and AC Milan (who play Manchester United and FC Bayern, respectively) and settle into a more comfortable position going into the final day of the league.

AC MILAN - FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN

Last matchday, both teams were affected by the sanction imposed by KONAMI after breaking the rule that prohibits exceeding 2400 Team Collective Strength points at any time. This meant that the games played by ACM Sasinho and FCB_Jose were considered 0-3 losses despite the victory of both players, resulting in a 3 point reduction in the standings. As a result, FC Bayern dropped to fourth place in the table, tied on 23 points with Manchester United, who overtake them on goal difference. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri dropped to the dangerous seventh position with 15 points, in the elimination zone, as AS Roma were awarded 3 more points due to KONAMI's refereeing decision.

FC Bayern will be looking to make amends for the refereeing decision and climb back to the top of the table, while AC Milan will be looking to pick up as many points as possible by trying out a new addition to their ranks, Frankino, recently crowned Coppa eFootball Italia champion with AC Milan, who will replace ACM Kirito.

FC BARCELONA - ARSENAL FC

One of the most eagerly awaited games of the season comes to close the penultimate round of league fixtures with top spot at stake. The Blaugrana, who are top of the league, will be looking to hold on to first place to secure their spot in the semi-finals, after they only managed 4 points against AS Monaco last time out. On the flip side, the Gunners picked up 6 points against FC Bayern after being awarded the third game in favour of INDOMINATOR following KONAMI's sanctioning of FCB_Jose for exceeding the Team Collective Strength ceiling of 2400 points. This would keep the Gunners in second place just 1 point behind their opponents this matchday, FC Barcelona. There could be a change of leadership here with just one round of Regular League play remaining, so tensions are running high.
