A look at the competitive gameplay that earned ETTORITO97 the MVP Award of Matchday 2

ETTORITO97 was crowned MVP of the January 11th competition, following his performance that put him at the top of the CO-OP rankings and resulted in six points for Juventus

Juventus’ ETTORITO97 has defended his reputation as a top competitor in the eFootball.Pro league by being crowned MVP of the second matchday of the season. While all three Italian players on this team ranked impressively with the top three amount of CO-OP points by the end of the day, it was Ettore who claimed the number one position with 3,911 CO-OP points at the conclusion of Matchday 2

Ettore’s performance in the first game of the matchday resulted in the experienced player leading in the majority of categories, and in CO-OP points overall, compared to both his teammates and his competition of the day, FC Schalke 04. ETTORITO97 was able to acquire 2,457 CO-OP points in the blowout game against the German team, while the rest of the players were unable to break past the 2,000 point threshold. He managed to lead the rankings in passing, dribbling, receiving, offensive positioning, and proactive defending, proving himself to be a versatile player skilled at all aspects of PES. Leading the game in offensive gameplay moves, he had the most assists, good receives, and overlaps, with an 83% success rate in passing and 93% in dribbling. Defensively, he also led with ten interceptions and presses from behind, seven impactful steals, a tackle, and good positioning in the game 74% of the time. He scored the third goal of the game at minute 82’, bringing the team to 3-0, eventually leading to their 4-0 victory.

In the second game of the competition, Ettore was able to gain 1,454 additional CO-OP points, creating his matchday leading total of 3,911. Again, he had the highest amount of receives (22), and passes (43) with almost 80% of them being successful. The Italian player also had the most frontal presses, and good positioning in the game defensively 67% of the time, higher than any of his teammates or competition. While ETTORITO97 wasn’t directly responsible for any of the goals scored in this game, his competitive gameplay aided in the 4-1 win for Juventus over FC Schalke 04, resulting in all six points being awarded to the Italian team at the conclusion of their second match played in the 2019-2020 eFootball.Pro season.

While receiving his prize for achieving MVP, Adam Butcher, eFootball.Pro host, asked Ettore about which aspects of his gameplay he thought earned him the award. The Italian player referenced his impressive number of CO-OP points, pointing out that they were the highest, described by Butcher as “all-round perfection.” During the post-game interviews, Ettore was asked about the team’s feelings following their victory, to which he stated: “We are so happy about the results. After the first matchday we trained a lot, like one month all day, for three to four hours each day, to win this and for going up in the rankings… We’re on top at the moment.” The rigorous training paid off for the Italian team, showing improvement by having their first game of the matchday being described as the game that will “send shockwaves through the eFootball.Pro league.”

Juventus is ranked at third place in the league as the teams move into the second half of the Regular Season. ETTORITO97 has continued to dominate amongst his skilled competitors, and is currently the best proactive defensive player with 6,017 points, while the rest have yet to make it past the 6,000 mark.
