KONAMI and IQONIQ announce title partnership agreement for eFootball.Pro 2020-21 season

Fan engagement platform is the title partner for the professional eFootball tournament, referred to as “eFootball.Pro IQONIQ” for the current season


Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. and IQONIQ have today announced the first major partnership agreement for eFootball.Pro, the elite competition exclusively for professional football clubs.


IQONIQ, the new fan engagement platform that targets the sports and entertainment worlds, and which launches in the first quarter of 2021, will be the title and exclusive fan engagement and loyalty partner from Matchday 3 (January 30th) of the 2020-21 season of eFootball.Pro IQONIQ.


In celebration of the partnership, KONAMI will be holding in-game campaigns for all eFootball PES 2021 users on mobile and PC/console. More details will be announced soon in-game.

With over 15 million total views on YouTube during the 2019-20 season, eFootball.Pro IQONIQ kicked off on December 12th with professional esports players representing some of the world’s biggest football clubs.


eFootball.Pro IQONIQ Matchdays during the regular 2020-21 season are played online in 3v3 CO-OP matches. “MVP” and “Top Goal-Scorer” awards are given out to individual players following each Matchday, with additional prize money awarded to the clubs based on their final ranking at the end of the season.

Matchday 2 will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook this Saturday, January 16th from 12:00 UK / 13:00 CET.
