How transfers of the winter market will impact Matchday 5

eFootball PES 2021 Season Update includes the latest changes in the clubs’ squads following the transfer window

After the 2020-2021 football winter transfer window and Thursdays’ maintenance*, clubs’ rosters have been updated and eFootball.Pro IQONIQ players will have many new in-game faces to choose from for Matchday 5. It is common for the esports captains not to choose the same line-up as football coaches, but now squads include most of the arrivals and fans might see changes in respect to Matchday 4

FC Barcelona, Manchester United FC and AS Monaco are the clubs that made the least changes in the latest winter transfers window, together with FC Bayern München, that hasn’t signed or incorporated any player. However, the Bavarian team on eFootball PES2021 counts with many men from the second team to choose from. Despite officially belonging to Barcelona B, Mingueza has been a regular for Koeman since November, but still needs to find a spot on THE PALMA’s line-up; same as Monaco’s Diatta, who has had some minutes in almost all of the matches in the Ligue 1 since his arrival. Lastly the Red Devils fans started to see Amad Diallo recently, in Europa League’s latest matchups against Real Sociedad, and that might raise E_C_Oneill’s attention for Matchday 5.

Juventus has been calling Fagioli and Drăgușin from the second team this year, but both have been on the bench during the Serie A matches, and ETTORITO97 took the same decision previously this year. Another team that had two additions is Arsenal FC. Ødegaard, on loan from Real Madrid, had minutes in Premier League and Europa League, and might be an option for INDOMINATOR’s formation, while Mathew Ryan, on loan from Brighton, doesn’t seem to have chances in front of Leno. Also in the British Isles, Jonjoe Kenny, on loan from Eventon, seems to have found his spot on Celtic FC’s defence this February. It remains to be seen if he will be a regular in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ too.

On their side, AS Roma, FC Schalke 04 and Galatasaray SK have had a busy winter, with many players returning or loaned. For Roma, El Shaarawy is back from China and began having minutes in the last weeks of February, so fans might see him also chosen by RoksaCzv22 from March 13th. On the other hand, Fuzato doesn’t seem a realistic option for eFootball.Pro IQONIQ’s matches, and Reynolds, still to debut, hasn’t been added to the team in eFootball PES 2021 Season Update.

For Galatasaray, Mostafa Mohamed has been a successful addition towards goal, and might help the Turkish team also in eFootball.Pro IQONIQ to improve their scoring record. Onyekuru, Gedson Fernandes and Yedlin have found their place under Fatih Tehrim’s orders and diversify Mucahit21’s options, while Dervisoglu is not playing currently but is nonetheless an option for the esports competition, despite other forward choices sound more logical. Finally, Hoppe is an official member of the first team for FC Schalke 04 this year, and he has already been part of MeroMen’s line-up on previous matchdays. On the other hand, Kolašinac wasn’t in the starting XI on Matchday 4 despite being available, nor Huntelaar, who has muscular problems in real life. Mustafi and William have also been playing in the Bundesliga since the transfer market and might be possibilities from Matchday 5.
