Relive the best moments of eFootball.Pro IQONIQ’s Knockout Stage of the 2020-21 season




Quarterfinal 1 (FC Barcelona 0-3 / 1-1 FC Schalke 04)

FC Barcelona and FC Schalke 04 were the first clubs to go head-to-head in the Knockout Stage, with the German club creating a lead by minute 4’ with EL_Matador’s successful shot. He then doubled their score in minute 22’, and MeroMen guaranteed the first victory with a goal in minute 66’. ALEXR helped FC Barcelona avoid a second shutout loss in minute 42’, however the other rookie of the match, Urma, managed to equalize the game in minute 86’ earning FC Schalke an overall 1-4 aggregate score in their favor, advancing them to the Semifinal against Juventus. 





Quarterfinal 2 (AS Monaco 2-2 / 2-0 Arsenal FC)

AS Monaco and Arsenal FC faced off in the second Semifinal of the day, which began in favor of the Monegasque club as a result of Kilzyou’s goal in minute 20’. Brothers INDOMINATOR and INDOJAWA took back the lead for the Gunners with shots in minutes 26’ and 31’, however the game ended in a draw after Usmabakyle’s equalizer in minute 53’. He began the second half of the Quarterfinal with another goal by minute 16’ and after being crowned the Top Assists Provider of the Regular Season it was Lotfi who achieved the final shot in minute 45’.





Semifinal 1 (Juventus 3-2 / 1-2 / 2-1 FC Schalke 04)

LoScandalo was the first to score in Semifinal 1 with two goals in a row in minutes 11’ and 31’. IL DISTRUTTORE44 increased Juventus’ lead in minute 62’, and although Urma and EL_Matador brought FC Schalke 04 close to an equalizer with their shots in minutes 72’ and 84’, they were the final ones of the game. Urma and his team captain MeroMen secured the initial lead in the second game for FC Schalke 04 with their goals in minutes 40’ and 53’, however ETTORITO97’s in minute 69’ equalized the aggregate score and forced the clubs to play a tiebreaker third game.  


ETTORITO97 continued with his momentum scoring the first goal of the tiebreaker in minute 61’, which was equalized by FC Schalke 04’s rookie Urma in minute 75’. Although the teams were close to ending the match with another draw, ETTORITO97 advanced his squad to the Final with his memorable late game goal in minute 90+6’.





Semifinal 2 (AS Roma 0-1 / 0-1 AS Monaco)

The second Semifinal between AS Roma and AS Monaco included the lowest scoring games of the Knockout Stage. Although AS Roma performed expertly throughout the Regular Season, and secured themselves an automatic position in the Semifinals as a result, it was the Monegasque trio that earned a spot in the Final after Usmabakyle’s goal in minute 45+1’ of the first game, and minute 7’ of the second.





3rd/4th Place (FC Schalke 04 2-1 AS Roma)

After their Semifinal losses, FC Schalke 04 and AS Roma played a single game to determine which club would finish in 3rd place, and which one would be 4th, at the end of the Knockout Stage. After experiencing latency issues in the first game, they replayed the match which began with a first goal by Urma in minute 12’. EL_Matador doubled FC Schalke 04’s lead in minute 29’, and although KEPA put AS Roma on the scoreboard in minute 40’, it was the final goal of the competition that ultimately  concluded with FC Schalke 04 in third place. 





Final (Juventus 3-1 AS Monaco)

The last matchup of the Knockout Stage featured gameplay between some of the most skilled players in the league, and was kicked off by Juventus captain ETTORITO97’s goal in minute 12’. The game was equalized following one last shot by Top Goal Scorer Kilzyou in minute 57’ which lasted until the end of the game, leading the Italian and Monegasque teams to extra time. LoScandalo came through for his club with back-to-back shots in minutes 92’ and 102’, earning Juventus the championship title of the eFootball.Pro IQONIQ Knockout Stage.
