ALEX GRD: “We played very well as a team, I think that makes the difference”

FC Barcelona hopes to continue their streak of six point victories, and Manchester United FC plans to utilize the disappointing outcome as a learning opportunity

Harry Channon spoke with players from FC Barcelona and Manchester United FC after the Blaugrana club achieved their second six point victory of the Regular Season, leaving Manchester with no new points to bring to the league table following Matchday 4

Manchester United FC captain E_C_Oneill began by analyzing the competition: “It was a very tough game. They just sat back while we tried to force our way to their defense. They did really well on defending and they were very clinical. I think every shot they had today was a goal. Unfortunately for us, we have to go back and see what went wrong. Maybe we shouldn’t have played so offensively and tried to force through their defense.” He ended his reflection on the gameplay by congratulating his opponents on their victory.

E_C_Oneill: "Monaco is for blood as the reigning champions, and we’re out for blood as well.”

Channon then shifted their focus to the upcoming matchday which includes a matchup between Manchester United FC and the two-time reigning champions, AS Monaco. The English captain predicted: “I think against Monaco it’ll be an open game. They don’t like to sit back like Barcelona. Monaco likes to attack and bring the game to you, like we do. It’ll most likely be a very open game and I think that suits our style more. Monaco also lost against Barcelona in the previous matchday, so I think they’re out for blood as the reigning champions, and we’re out for blood as well.”

Harry moved on to congratulating ALEX GRD on Barcelona’s second six point gain so far in the Regular Season. ALEX GRD expressed his pride: “Great games. We played very well as a team, I think that makes the difference. We play for each other. Today was a great day with the six points and I hope it will continue.”

As the Blaugrana squad looks to continue with their winning streak, they face Italian club Juventus in the next matchday of eFootball.Pro IQONIQ. ALEX GRD discussed the upcoming fixture: “After Monaco, Manchester, and now Juventus, the calendar has been very strong. But we did well, so again we want the six points and we hope to play as well as we did today. Let’s see what will happen.” FC Barcelona is currently in first place with three points separating them from their next closest competitors, and hopes to maintain this lead after the next matchup.
