IF YOU MISSED MATCHDAY 5, WATCH IT NOW HERE!

Matchday 5 of the Regular League has left us a few intersting movements in the table. FC Bayern München lost third place to Manchester United, tying with the Red Devils on 25 points, after being sanctioned for surpassing the maximum limit of 2400 for the Team Collective Strenght rule in the third game of the bavarian series. The Gunners maintain the second place and are still in the fight for the straight qualification to the Semifinals awarded to the Top 2 teams after the Regular League ends, so the last two rounds are set to be exciting. Manchester United also made the most of the matchday after scoring 7 points against FC Inter, who are practically out of the competition, and scaling to the third place due to having a better goal difference than FC Bayern. FC Barcelona hold on to top spot, but sees its lead reduced to just one point over the Gunners, while AS Monaco take an all-important four points away from the blaugranas to put some distance from the sixth-placed AS Roma, benefited with 3 points more thanks to the sanction imposed by KONAMI to AC Milan after breaching the 2400 Team Collective Strength rule. The Rossoneri's chances of qualifying for the KO Stage on June 24th are diminished after falling to seventh place and only getting 2 points against AS Roma.

In the awards section, INDOMINATOR’s goal against Usmakabyle was voted the fourth matchday’s Goal of the Day award, with a prize of €5,000.

(+4) FC BARCELONA - AS MONACO (+4)

GAME 1: Alex Alguacil   1  -  1  Kams10_

Intense match that both players offered us to start the day. Alex Alguacil was unbeaten so far with 3 wins and a draw, while Kams10_ had lost against Roksa22 in the previous matchday. The French took the lead in the first half with a great goal from Golovin in the 19th minute. From then on the game opened up and was full of chances for both players, until finally the Spaniard Alex Alguacil got the goal that would force the final draw in the 69th minute. It was a hard-fought draw for Alguacil, who is still unbeaten in the competition, and bittersweet for Kams10_, who let the three points slip away.

GAME 2: Ettorito97  2  -  1  Zilo

Ettorito97 was facing a debutant in the competition for the fourth time this season. Young Zilo started his eFootball Championship Pro career against none other than his older brother, Arsenal's Ostrybuch, and now he was up against probably the most in form player in the competition. Ettorito97 scored early in the 10th minute with Lewandoski, but for the benefit of the spectacle and the spectators, the Pole was no pushover against the Italian giant and kept his finger on the pulse throughout the first half. In stoppage time just before the break Zilo equalised for Minamino, leading to a frantic second half. But the multi-time Italian champion never gives up and took the lead again in the 81st minute through Lewandowski. Despite young Zilo's best efforts, Ettorito97 snatched a narrow victory, but at least the youngster Polish proved that he can stand up to any champion in the tournament.

GAME 3:  The Palma  1  -  2  Usmakabyle

After a draw and a win in the previous games, the blaugrana captain came into the match obliged to get the 3 points in order not to lose pace and distance from his pursuers in the league. Before him, a hungry Usmakabyle wanted to make up for his defeat in the last round against INDOMINATOR and get the only possible victory for his team that day. Usmakabyle got off to a flying start, scoring in the 3rd minute of the match with Ben Yedder's 'Epic: Big Time' card and in the 14th minute with Boadu. It wasn't until the 69th minute that The Palma managed to close the gap, but in the end the victory went to the Monegasques and both teams had the same points, 4 out of a possible 9. Barça hold on to the lead and AS Monaco climb to 5th position.

(+7) MANCHESTER UNITED - FC INTER (+1)

GAME 1: Nekza  2  -  1  ArdaGolaaazooo

Manchester United were coming into the game on a rising trend and Nekza wanted to turn that spirit into a win for his team. In front of him was promising youngster ArdaGolaaazooo, who had so far been the only FC Inter player to put in good performances, with all his team's points coming from him. The game started well for the Red Devils after Nekza had taken the lead in the 29th minute with a great goal from Sabitzer and in the 41st minute with a fierce header from Rashford's 'Epic: Big Time' card. In the second half ArdaGolaaazooo pulled one back for Lautaro Martinez in the 47th minute, but it was not enough and Nekza managed to keep the score at 2-1 until the end and secure Manchester's first three points of the day.

GAME 2: Lotfi  2  -  2  MeroMen

It was a close match between the captains of the two teams. Lotfi picked up their first win of the season last time out, while MeroMen had yet to taste victory, having lost all their matches to date. The first half was keenly contested with chances for both players, but it was not until the second half that the scoreboard was opened when Lotfi struck the first goal of the game with Marcus Rashford's 'Epic: Big Time' card in the 57th minute. The Frenchman managed to widen the gap with a second goal from Martial in the 74th minute, but then MeroMen pulled one back for Lukaku in the 86th minute. The German stepped up the pressure on a hesitant Lotfi and in the 90th minute, coming off a corner, the Nerazzurri captain scored the equaliser with the 'Epic: Big Time' card from Lautaro Martinez. At last Meromen got a point for his team while Lotfi again suffered a late comeback.

GAME 3: Kilzyou  7  -  1  EL_Matador

Two killers who hadn't officially met in the competition for years went head to head. Kilzyou had two wins, while EL_Matador had two defeats after replacing Christopher_M_M from Matchday 3 onwards. EL_Matador started by scoring in the 10th minute with Calhanoglu, but Kilzyou soon levelled the match in the 14th minute with Sabitzer. Just 7 minutes later, the Frenchman of Manchester came from behind to take the lead with Sabitzer's brace. From then on, Kilzyou's goalscoring locomotive kicked into gear and the goals kept coming one after the other in the 34th, 64th, 73rd, 75th and 83rd minute to complete the biggest scoreline so far in the competition with a 7-1 win. A heartbreaking end for EL_Matador and FC Inter who for the third time in a row only got 1 point and will almost irremediably be out of the competition for the KO Stage.

(+6)  FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN - ARSENAL FC (+3)

GAME 1:  Mucahit21  1  -  2  Ostrybuch

The clash between the Germans and the English was probably the most anticipated match of the day, as both teams were playing for top spot in the league if they won all their games, after FC Barcelona had only 4 points. Turkey's Mucahit21 arrived unbeaten in the season, but having drawn their previous match against ArdaGolaaazooo to 2-2. To the surprise of many, an Ostrybuch who was coming off a draw against his younger brother Zilo the previous matchday, started off by establishing the lead in the first half after scoring in the 34th minute. In the second half, the Polish scored the second just after the break again with Gabriel Jesus, but in the 66th minute the Turkish side pulled one back with Tel to tighten the match going into the final quarter of the game. However, Mucahit21 were unable to equalize despite several attempts and suffered his first defeat of the season while Ostrybuch claimed his second win.

GAME 2:   FCB_Mestre  1  -  0  Roksa22

After the defeat of Mucahit21, FCB_Mestre was under pressure to secure 3 points for his team against one of the most in-form players of the season, Roksa22. The Serbian giant had a clean sheet so far and was third in the scoring charts, but the German player would not make it easy for him as he took the lead with a great goal from Tel in the 17th minute. Roksa22 had a great chance in the 28th minute when Trossard hit the crossbar from a free-kick, but the Spaniard managed to hold off the Serbian's attacks and keep the score at 1-0 until the final whistle. An important win for the Bavarians going into the third game with the chance to draw level with the Gunners if FCB_Jose beat INDOMINATOR.

GAME 3:  FCB_Jose  0*  -  3*  INDOMINATOR

* 0-3 result in favor of Arsenal FC following a FCB_Jose's infringement of the rule that prohibits exceeding 2400 Team Collective Strength points at any time.

(+5) AC MILAN - AS ROMA (+2)

GAME 1:  ACM Kirito  1  -  1  ASR_Gagliardo28

AC Milan and AS Roma were neck and neck ahead of the Italian derby to close the day's play. The Rossoneri were in fifth place, just two points behind their Roman rivals but one point away from missing out on qualification for the KO Stage. The Giallorossi on the other hand were seventh and needed to win points if they were to secure a place in the finals on June 24th.

ACM Kirito were coming off the back of a heavy 5-0 defeat against Ettorito97, while ASR_Gagliardo28 had yet to register a win. The former took an early lead with a goal from Origi and managed to keep the score almost until the end when ASR_Gagliardo28, launched a good counter and, after a cross to the far post, scored with the 'Epic: Big Time' card the Dybala, adjusting the score to the final 1-1.

GAME 2: ACM Sasinho  0* -  3*  ASR_STIFFLER

* 0-3 result in favor of AS Roma following an ACM Sasinho's infringement of the rule that prohibits exceeding 2400 Team Collective Strength points at any time.

GAME 3: ACM Naples17x  1  -  1  ASR_URMA43

Duel of captains to end the day with the pressure on ASR_URMA43 to achieve a victory for his team that can help them to get out of the bottom of the table. The Roman captain was unable to play last matchday and came with the desire to regain points, but the Rossoneri captain has enough skills to always be a tough opponent. The score was opened in the 7th minute with an own goal by ACM_Naples17x in a bizarre action, but just 9 minutes later he remedied the mistake by scoring the equaliser with a great header by Tomori. From then on the match became very even and tight in the game, with the scoreboard not moving any further until the end of the 90 minutes. Only two points in total for AC Milan which led them to fall to seventh position, while AS Roma jumps to qualification places just 1 point away of the elimination zone.
